Turning Pages Book Club!

On Thursday our Book Club met for the first time to discuss "A Girl Named Zippy" By Haven Kimmel.  We had a great time talking about this fun book and we were able to take a vote on the rest of the books that we will be reading this year.  I will put a list on the left so you can check out what books are coming up any time!  Check out the list of books we'll be reading and join us whenever you can, you can even come when you haven't read the book we still have fun visiting. So far all of the scheduled meetings are going to be at Kendra Gladwill's home at 7pm and for the most part they are scheduled for the 2nd Thursday of each month.
Ok here is the schedule for the rest of the year:
June 11th: The Book of Names by Jill Gregory and Karen Tintori
July 9th: The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
August 13th: One Thousand White Women By Jim Fergus
September 10th: The Cereal Murders by Diane Mott Davidson
October 8th: The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis
November 19th: Honolulu by Alan Brennert
December 10th: The Prisoner of Tehran by Marina Nemat
If you are interested in helping to select books for next year begin collecting titles, we will be voting on them again in December.  Book selections do not need to be religious but please keep selections appropriate to be shared with the Relief Society Sisters.
